大西洋史課綱

課程說明:
本課程旨在透過環大西洋歐洲、美洲與非洲三洲相遇的歷史(1500-1800),以瞭解世界第一次的全球化、資本主義起源以及黑奴貿易。為此,本課程將透過各類學術研究成果以介紹大西洋史。
本課程由三個教學單元組成。第一單元「第一次全球化」,簡要介紹歐亞地區在政治、經濟與文化的主要發展特徵,例如探討中國與歐洲之跨地區與文明的海上探險,及其如何埋下全球經濟趨同的伏筆,還有歐洲人如何回應新世界一切。第二單元「哥倫布交流」,簡要介紹三大洲交流所帶來的生態影響。第三單元「地方、物品、人」,以地方、物品、人為主題,視其為大西洋史最主要研究議題以及研究方式,在經由討論「地方、物品、人」過程中認識大西洋交流中的暴力、經濟發展以及種族衝突、同化與認同。

3.賞析電影、討論或A4心得(20%)
4.期末考(20%)
5.專題與書面報告(兩次, 30%)
